Welcome to the new school year at Claire Lilienthal! We are excited about our Annual Fund Drive, the first of our two major fundraisers for the school year. It is the Claire Lilienthal PTA’s commitment to addressing and funding the additional needs of our community that differentiates us from other schools.

Did you know…?

  • The CLPTA will be supplementing the school budget with an additional $1M this school year to fund enrichment programs at the school and support our staff.

  • CLPTA spending amounts to $1500 per student this school year.

  • Due to your generosity our PTA is able to fund :

    • Full time Reading Specialists for kids that need extra support so that the primary classroom teachers can focus on the rest of the class. Everyone gets a chance to excel!

    • Our Green Schoolyard Program where students learn about animal and plant adaptations, weather tools, ecosystems, rocks, water systems, food choices and more! A wonderful chance for the kids to be learning outside at least once a week.

    • Our Arts and Theater Program where students in all grade levels experience a variety of artistic experiences throughout the school year. Professional artists join our classroom teachers to provide instruction in a variety of artistic expressions such as dance, music, theater, and the visual arts.

    • Our School Climate Program which encompasses P.E./athletics, the library, noon monitors, office support and much more—all of which vitally contribute to the social emotional health and well being of our students.

    • Ongoing Professional Development For Teachers and Staff which allows our educators to grow their knowledge and hone their skills, leading to greater student outcomes.

    • Classroom funds for our teachers, so they do not have to spend their own money to buy supplies! 

    • Cultural support for our Korean Immersion Program.

    • Graduation expenses, Technology, Community Activities and so much more!

How Much Should I Give?

  • Every dollar counts! We all give what we can. Donations range from $1 to $5,000+

  • If you are considering donating $10 – an extra $5 would fund the cost of the Wellness Center for two students

  • If you are considering donating $100 – an extra $10 would fund Athletic Equipment for one student

  • If you are considering donating $500 – an extra $50 would fund Arts and Theater Program for one student

  • If you are considering donating $1,000 – an extra $100 would fund the Green Schoolyard Program for one student

  • Please consider making your child’s school one of the primary recipients of your philanthropic giving for the year

How Do I Donate?

DONATE AND RECEIVE YOUR MAGNET!

  • Online at www.clairelilienthal.org/giving (You may donate in a single payment or set up recurring payments. )

  • Mail (or hand deliver) a check payable to: Claire Lilienthal PTA, 3630 Divisadero Street, San Francisco, CA 94123. Please write "Annual Fund" in the memo, and also include your name, email, and child(ren)'s name(s).

  • Hand deliver cash in an envelope to: Claire Lilienthal PTA, 3630 Divisadero Street, San Francisco, CA 94123. Please add a note indicating your name, email and your child(ren)'s name(s).

  • Check if your employer offers a company match! Many Bay Area employers match charitable contributions like those to Claire Lilienthal. The Annual Fund Committee can help you with company matches so please reach out with any questions. CLPTA (Tax ID 0094-2954256) is a 501 (c) (3) organization.
